Why it was recalled
According to the RAPEX notice, the identified hazard is: The plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and di-‘isononyl’ phthalate (DINP) (measured values: 19.4% and 0.14% by weight, respectively). These phthalates may harm the health by causing possible damage to the reproductive system. Moreover, DINP may cause possible damage to the liver.
