According to the EU Safety Gate (RAPEX) notice, the identified hazard is: The breakdown isolation between the input and output circuits and the creepage and clearance distances between circuits of the wall socket are insufficient. Moreover there is no overcurrent protection device fitted to the USB input circuit. This can lead to overheating of the wall socket and cause a fire. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive, nor with the European standard EN 62368-1.
