Why it was recalled

According to the EU Safety Gate (RAPEX) notice, the identified hazard is: The earth contacts in the sockets are not connected and the earth contacts in the Schuko plug are partially covered with plastic. Moreover, the product is missing the protective conductor in the supply cable. In the event of a short circuit, the short-circuit current is not discharged via the earthing. This can lead to an electric shock. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive.
