According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: This program includes all Sleep Number® Beds by Select Comfort sold from November 2002 through March 15, 2003 that were shipped through or to cold weather locations. Hazards: When exposed to severely cold temperatures and impact, such as may occur during shipping, the power cord insulation on the electric air pump can crack, creating a short-circuit or exposing live electrical wires and presenting a shock or electrocution hazard.
