According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: The Recharging Station comes with two rechargeable batteries, an AC adapter, and a recharging base. The recharging base is white with a green indicator light on the bottom. The Recharging Station for Didj was sold as item number 30676, which is printed on the box and on the bottom of the recharging base. Hazards: The rechargeable batteries included with the Recharging Station can overheat if the gaming system is placed into the recharging base upside down, posing a burn hazard to consumers.
