According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: This recall involves two models of Porter Athletic climbing ropes.Model number 00118 is a white soft dacron rope with vinyl boot end sold in 12', 16', 20' and 24' lengths. Model number 00119 is a white soft dacron rope with vinyl boot end and rubber knots every 12" sold in 12', 16', 20' and 24' lengths. Hazards: The climbing rope can slip through the clamp that connects at the top, posing a fall hazard for climbers.
