Why it was recalled

According to the Health Canada notice, the identified hazard is: During the course of global market surveillance activities, the manufacturer has become aware of cases where Oxylog 3000 Plus emergency and transport ventilators have stopped ventilation due to empty batteries despite being reconnected to the mains power supply after previous battery operation. This is due to a timing problem in the firmware of the charging circuit PCB, where the charging process may be interrupted, making the switch to mains operation impossible. Recall start date: May 17, 2023
