Why it was recalled
According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: The recalled candle lanterns are approximately 5", 7", and 9" square. They are made of rustproof galvanized steel, lined with glass panels and a hanger at the top. Each lantern has a holder for placing a candle inside the lantern. Hazards: The solder attaching the hanger at the top of the lantern may melt from the heat of a candle, causing the lantern to detach from the hanger, posing a fire hazard.
