Why it was recalled
According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: The mini-flashlights were provided to consumers as a free gift with the purchase of Aim n' Flame II multi-purpose lighters. The black, plastic flashlight is about 5-1/4 inches long with a thin red ring around the barrel. There is no safety issue relating to the multi-purpose lighter and it is not the subject of this voluntary recall. Hazards: The mini-flashlight's battery compartment can overheat, presenting a possible burn hazard to consumers.
