According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: This recall involves Kirkland Signature six-quart, black, hard-anodized aluminum sauté pans with glass lids. The tempered glass lids have a stainless steel rim and handle. The pan is about 3 inches deep and the pan and lid each measure about 12 inches in diameter. "Kirkland Signature," "6 QT/5.6 L" and "Made in Thailand" are printed on the bottom of the sauté pan. Hazards: The pan's tempered glass lid can crack, break or shatter, posing a laceration hazard to consumers.
