According to the EU Safety Gate (RAPEX) notice, the identified hazard is: This product poses a serious risk of electric shock because:- after overflow test the connecting device in the base decreased electrical strength and an electric breakdown occurred;- the drainage holes in the base are too narrow. The product does not comply with the Low Voltage Directive and with the relevant European standard EN 60335.
