Why it was recalled

According to the RAPEX notice, the identified hazard is: The product’s internal circuits are not sufficiently isolated from water, and the internal build quality is poor. The wires can transmit current to the metal heating element thus posing an electrocution risk. Furthermore, there is no protection on the metal heating element when activated, increasing the risk of burns to the user or burning objects due to its high temperature.
