Why it was recalled
According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: The recall involves the Hampton Bay® three-head, flush-mount, halogen light fixture with silver metal rings on the lamp fixtures. It is 15.75 inches wide by 6 inches high. The lights have frosted glass shades. The position of the three lamps on the fixture can be adjusted by turning and bending the lamp heads. A clear label on the fixture reads "MADE IN CHINA," and "E91785." Hazards: The decorative metal rings on the ends of the lamp fixtures can detach. Consumers could suffer minor burns if they touch the hot rings.
