According to the CPSC notice, the identified hazard is: This recall involves two styles of girls' jackets. The Shampoo brand jackets are denim with a pink hood and sleeves, and were sold in sizes 5/6, 7/8, 10/12 and 14/16. The Marci & Me brand sweater jackets are black or tan and were sold in sizes 7/8, 10/12 and 14/16. The tag at the neck reads "Shampoo" or "Marci & Me." Hazards: The hooded jackets have a drawstring through the hood that can pose a strangulation hazard to children. The sweater jackets have a drawstring through the waist that can pose an entanglement hazard to children.
