The necklaces have painted metallic pendants in the shape of shoes, girls, blackboards with "ABCD," or school buses. The other recalled jewelry sets include a necklace and seven pendants, one for each day of the week. The pendants are shaped as sandals, purses or butterflies. "Essentials for kids" is printed on the packaging. Hazards: The recalled metal jewelry sets contain high levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
