Why it was recalled
According to the RAPEX notice, the identified hazard is: Due to a mistranslation of the configuration data between two production systems, the vehicle’s body control module (BCM) may not be correctly configured to detect indicator light failures. If an indicator bulb fails, the BCM may not detect the fault and the warning signal may not illuminate, reducing communication with other road users and increasing the risk of an accident.
