According to the RAPEX notice, the identified hazard is: The plastic material of the product has an excessive concentration of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) and cadmium (measured value: up to 17.7% and 0.086% by weight, respectively). This phthalate may harm the health by possibly causing damage to the reproductive system. Cadmium is harmful to human health because it accumulates in the body, can damage the kidneys and bones and it may cause cancer.
