Reported risk: Under conditions of heavy braking the footbrake relay cross shaft ball joint may detach from its left hand mounting. This would result in failure of the service brake. Remedy: Recall the affected vehicles and check that the ball joint is properly located in its bush. Where this is not the case the mounting assemblies will be adjusted or replaced as necessary.
