Reported risk: Issue:
On a small number of RV trailers, the cargo carrying capacity label and tire and loading information label may list incorrect tire pressure information. The labels incorrectly list the recommended tire pressure as 5516 kPa (800 psi), when the labels should instead list the tire pressure as 552 kPa (80 psi). This information could lead you to overinflate the tires and cause poor handling and/or a tire failure.
Safety Risk:
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Winnebago will mail a new cargo carrying capacity label and tire and loading information label to each owner. If you'd like help to install the labels, you can contact a Winnebago dealer to have them installed free of charge.
