Reported risk: Issue:
On certain vehicles, the third-row passenger-side seat belt may not have been routed correctly and could be trapped behind an interior panel. As a result, the seat belt can't be used.
Safety Risk:
Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
To reduce the safety risk, Honda advises that if the seat belt can't be latched, you shouldn't transport a passenger in the third-row passenger-side seat until the recall repairs are completed. Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, correct the routing of the seat belt.
