Reported risk: Issue:
On certain vehicles, the brake booster input rod may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the input rod could detach from the brake booster and cause a loss of brakes.
Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-484. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair.
Safety Risk:
A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Audi will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the brake booster input rod screw joint.
