Reported risk: Issue:
On certain vehicles, the front wheel hub encoder rings may have been damaged during production and could cause the electronic stability control (ESC) system not to work. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.
Safety Risk:
An electronic stability control system that doesn't work could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the front wheel bearing hubs.
