This recall is for certain heaters that were sold as a Honda genuine accessory by Honda dealers. Under certain settings, the accessory heater controller could malfunction and overheat.
Note: This recall is not being conducted under the requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Safety Risk:
A heater that overheats could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
To reduce the safety risk, Honda advises that you should not use the heater until the recall repairs have been completed. Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your side-by-side to a dealership to replace the accessory heater.
