Reported risk: Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the screws that attach the roof rack might not have been properly tightened. As a result, the roof rack could detach from the trailer while driving.
Safety Risk:
A roof rack that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
To reduce the safety risk, Forest River advises not to use the roof rack until the recall repairs have been completed. Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the roof rack screws.
