Reported risk: Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the exterior sidewall metal panel(s) may not be properly attached. As a result, the sidewall metal panel(s) could become loose and detach from the trailer while being towed.
Safety Risk:
Sidewall metal that detaches from the trailer could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
To reduce the safety risk, Keystone advises that if any sidewall metal is loose, to re-secure it before towing. Keystone will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to add additional support to any loose sidewall metal panel(s).
