Reported risk: Issue:
On certain motorcycles, the throttle wire could become damaged by the handlebar. As a result, the wire could break and cause the engine to stall while riding.
Note: This recall affects both IBEX 800 Sport and IBEX 800 Touring models.
Safety Risk:
A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
To reduce the safety risk, CFMOTO advises you not to ride your motorcycle until the recall repairs have been completed. CFMOTO will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to reroute the throttle wire.
