Reported risk: Issue:
On a small number of RV trailers, the emergency exit window may not have been installed on the correct side of the trailer. As a result, you may not be able to escape from the trailer in an emergency if the entry door is blocked.
Safety Risk:
An emergency exit installed in the wrong location could increase the risk of injury in an emergency.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to install an emergency exit window.
