Reported risk: Issue: On certain vehicles, the rivets securing the hood latch strikers may not have been installed properly. Under certain conditions, the striker(s) could detach from the hood and the hood may open suddenly while driving. This could also cause the hood to separate from the vehicle. Safety Risk: A hood that opens suddenly while driving could block the driver's view. Additionally, a hood that detaches could create a road hazard for others. Both could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Lamborghini will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, repair the hood and/or install a support plate for the strikers.
