Reported risk: Issue:
On certain RV trailers, the interior cooktop burner could be affected by the operation of the furnace. This could cause the burner flame to invert.
Safety Risk:
An inverted burner flame could create the risk of a burn injury or cause a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to seal any gaps in the cabinet between the cooktop and the furnace. To reduce the safety risk, Forest River recommends that the furnace and cooktop should not be used at the same time before the recall repairs have been completed.
