Reported risk: Issue:
On certain trucks, the tire and loading information label lists the wrong tire pressures for the front and rear tires. The label incorrectly lists the tire pressures as 620 kPa (90 psi). For trucks equipped from factory with Goodride LT215/75R16 tires, the label should instead list the tire pressures as 648 kPa (94 psi). For trucks equipped with Goodride LT225/75R16 tires, the label should instead list the tire pressures as 524 kPa (76 psi). This could lead you to inflate the tires incorrectly, causing poor handling and/or a tire failure.
Note: Different tire manufacturers and models with the same dimensions may require different inflation pressures.
Safety Risk:
Poor handling and/or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Vicinity Motor Corporation will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to install a corrected tire and loading information label.
