On certain motorhomes, the wiring near the 12 V batteries may not have been routed and secured properly. As a result, the wiring could become damaged by contact with the battery brackets. If this happens, the wiring could short circuit and melt.
Safety Risk:
Wiring that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Winnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, re-route and secure the wiring. If damage is found, the dealer will repair or replace the wiring, as necessary.
