Reported risk: Issue: On certain motorhomes, the seat belt anchor bracket for the dinette seats may not be strong enough. As a result, the seat belt could loosen or detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that detaches in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Newmar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to an authorized service facility to replace the seat belt bracket for the dinette seats, and install additional fasteners. Newmar recommends not to use the dinette seats during transit until the recall repairs are completed.
