Reported risk: Issue:
On a small number of motorhomes, the insulation for the 120 V wires to the air conditioner may have been cut. As a result, the exposed wire(s) could contact the metal junction box. This could cause a short circuit or electrical arcing (sparks).
Safety Risk:
Exposed electrical wiring could create a risk of electrocution or a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Triple E will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the 120 V wiring to the air conditioner, and repair it as necessary.
