Reported risk: Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the propane (LP) regulator could fail. If this happens, there could be a high-pressure propane leak.
Note: This recall only affects motorhomes equipped with a Marshall Excelsior 2-stage propane regulator marked with lot number K0722 or K1822.
Safety Risk:
A propane gas leak could create the risk of a fire or explosion.
Corrective Action:
Triple E will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for inspecting the lot number of the propane regulator. If the regulator on your motorhome has one of the lot numbers listed above, Triple E will advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to perform a leak test, and replace the regulator if necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Triple E recommends to turn off the propane system in the motorhome until the recall repairs have been completed.
