Reported risk: Issue: On certain motorhomes, a software problem in the vehicle control module could cause a sudden loss of power. If this happens, the engine, head lamps and/or windshield wipers could suddenly shut off. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a loss of headlights and/or windshield wipers could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jayco will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your motorhome to a Spartan service center to reprogram the vehicle control module software.
