Reported risk: Issue:
On certain vehicles, the front suspension knuckles could crack and/or break. A front knuckle that breaks while driving could cause a sudden loss of vehicle control.
Safety Risk:
A loss of vehicle control could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the front suspension knuckles. If the batch code stamped on the knuckle is within the affected range, and it isn't cracked, the dealership will install a retaining bracket. If cracks are found, the dealership will replace the knuckle(s).
