Reported risk: Issue:
On certain golf cars and personal transportation vehicles, the steering knuckles and/or A-arms could break during or after an impact (like hitting a curb). This could cause a loss of steering control.
Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall 2022-245. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall also require this repair.
Safety Risk:
A loss of steering control can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Textron will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the A-arms and, if necessary, install a reinforcement bracket to strengthen the steering knuckles.
