On certain RV trailers, the switch that controls the stabilizer jacks may not be waterproof. As a result, water can enter the switch and cause a short circuit. If this happens, the stabilizer jacks could extend while the trailer is being towed.
Safety Risk:
Stabilizer jacks that extend from a trailer while being towed could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Keystone will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to replace the stabilizer jack switch.
