Reported risk: Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the fuse and wiring on the control circuit for the refrigerator could overheat and melt.
Safety Risk:
An overheated fuse or wiring could create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
Pleasure-Way will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to remove the refrigerator fuse and wiring from the DCF4 circuit board (located above the battery box) and install a fused relay for the refrigerator. The dealer will also relabel the DCF4 board with the statement "Max 20A Fuse Do Not Add Extra Fuses". Pleasure-Way advises that you should not operate the refrigerator in the DC mode for an extended period of time until the recall repairs are completed.
Verify each fact at the issuing agency before acting. Recall scope, affected lots, and remediation instructions may be updated by the agency after our last sync.
