Reported risk: Issue:
On certain snowmobiles equipped with a Patriot Boost engine, the primary (drive) clutch bolt could break. If this happens, pieces of the clutch could separate from the vehicle.
Safety Risk:
Clutch parts that separate from the snowmobile could hit a person and create a risk of injury.
Corrective Actions:
Polaris will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the drive clutch and drive clutch bolt. To reduce the safety risk, Polaris advises that you shouldn't use your snowmobile until the recall repairs have been completed.
Verify each fact at the issuing agency before acting. Recall scope, affected lots, and remediation instructions may be updated by the agency after our last sync.
