On certain vehicles, the bolt that attaches the handlebar stem could break. If this happens, the handlebars could detach and cause a loss of steering.

A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
BRP recommends that you should stop riding your vehicle immediately. BRP will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to clean the steering column threads and install a new handlebar stem bolt.
