On certain vehicles, the rollover valve in the fuel tank may not seal properly. As a result, fuel could leak from the tank in a rollover crash.
Safety Risk:
A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the fuel tank. If the rollover valve is dislodged or missing, the dealer will replace the fuel tank shell.
