Reported risk: Issue: On a small number of trucks, the wrong size quick-connector was used to connect the fuel suction hose to the fuel inlet pipe. As a result, the connector could leak diesel fuel. This could cause the engine to stall while driving. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of engine power could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Action: Isuzu will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the quick-connector for the fuel suction hose.
