A small number of tires were built with an incorrect internal component. As a result, the belts could separate inside the tire. This can lead to a tire failure.
Note: This recall only affects certain tires with a date code of 0721.
Safety Risk:
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
The company will send a letter to registered owners to advise them of this problem. If you have these tires, you should contact a Cooper Tire dealer. All tires affected by this recall will be replaced.
