Reported risk: Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the generator wiring harness could be damaged by contact with the generator fan. If this happens, the wire could short circuit and the remote shutoff switch for the generator inside the motorhome may not work.
Note: If the remote shutoff switch does not work, you can turn off the generator by using the switch that is located on the generator.
Safety Risk:
A short circuit could create a fire risk.
Corrective Actions:
Triple E will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to secure the wiring harness away from the generator fan.
