Reported risk: Issue:
On certain ATVs, the rear brake calipers could crack. If this happens, brake effectiveness could be reduced.
Safety Risk:
Reduced brake effectiveness could cause an increase in stopping distance and create the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:
CMI will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your ATV to a dealer to replace the rear brake calipers. CMI recommends that you should not use your ATV until the brake calipers have been replaced.
