Reported risk: On certain motorcycles, the carburetor cap may not have been properly tightened and the throttle slide could stick in the open position. If this were to occur, it could result in a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will tighten the carburetor cap. If a gap is found between the cap and carburetor housing, and the cap is unable to be tightened, the carburetor will replaced. Note: In the interim, owners are advised to stop use until recall repairs are performed.
