Reported risk: On certain vehicles, an issue in the software that manages the brake system Hydraulic Unit may allow it to reset without warning and could cause some vehicle features to malfunction. If this were to occur while driving, the following features may be affected: automatic braking (if Automatic Cruise Control (ACC) and/or Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) is in operation), Antilock Brake System (ABS), Active Stability Control (ASC), Brake Auto Hold (BAH). If these systems malfunction, there could be an increased risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will update the Hydraulic Unit control software.
