Reported risk: On certain side-by-side ATV’s, the throttle body insulators may not have been correctly installed. In the event of an engine backfire, this could cause the throttle body to separate from the insulators. If the vehicle is operated with this condition and there is sufficient combustible debris built up on the engine, this could result in a fire creating a risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the throttle bodies and adjust as necessary.
