Reported risk: On certain vehicles, PEX connectors in the passenger compartment heating system may have been exposed to lubricant at time of assembly and/or if the transmission oil cooler were to fail, could be contaminated with transmission oil. This could cause the connection to degrade, potentially resulting in a leak. Leaking coolant could come into contact with passengers, resulting in burn injuries. Correction: Connectors will be replaced. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2017-477.
